About Us

Founded in 2020, House History is the result of a shared passion for history, architecture, and community. Our founder, Carolyn Anifalaje, now resides in the charming suburbs of the DC area known as Bethesda-Chevy Chase, surrounded by a wealth of remarkable historical homes and situated right next to Washington, D.C., a city steeped in history.

It was from this rich background that we recognized a void – a dedicated space where people could share the profound stories of the homes that have shaped their lives. We firmly believe that every home holds a unique story waiting to be uncovered.

Join our thriving online community and make your home’s story a part of our collective narrative. Whether you want to reminisce about generations past, admire architectural marvels, or simply share your home’s distinctive character, House History provides the stage. Now we can create a collective archive to last, we have the opportunity to breathe life into buildings, where memories are etched, and the tapestry of the past seamlessly intertwines with the present.

Welcome to House History, where your home’s story takes its rightful place in our shared history, inspiring future generations along the way.
